Bandung-based video developer Tosca Orca has officially unveiled its latest project, Spell Trigger, a forthcoming RPG shooter that blends traditional gunplay with magical abilities. More information about the game’s release date has yet to be announced.

Spell Trigger casts players as Vivian Veyne, a Warden Magus from the Magus Order, tasked with confronting supernatural threats that coincide with waves of mysterious long slumbers and unexplained deaths spreading across the globe. Set in a fictional coastal metropolis on the West Coast, the story explores how the titular “Spell Trigger” technology has reshaped the history of the Magi’s battles.

The game promises high-intensity third-person combat combined with powerful spells, allowing players to craft dynamic and destructive combat styles. As they progress, players will unlock a variety of magical abilities, equipment, and weapons, offering depth and flexibility in how battles are approached.

In addition to solo play, Spell Trigger will feature multiplayer support, enabling players to team up with friends to defeat enemies, strategise builds, and explore a world filled with hidden secrets. A cinematic presentation coupled with rich RPG mechanics aims to appeal to fans of both action shooters and fantasy storytelling.

While no release date has been confirmed, the game is available to wishlist on Steam.
