Indonesia’s largest game incubation and competition programme, Gameseed 2025, has officially concluded with resounding success during IGDX 2025 in Bali. Six exceptional teams from both the Public and Student categories emerged as this year’s winners, sharing a total prize pool of IDR 102 million in recognition of their creativity and innovation in game development.
Organised by the Ministry of Creative Economy in collaboration with the Indonesian Game Association (AGI), and supported by Tencent, Nuon Digital Indonesia, and Google, Gameseed continues to play a pivotal role in fostering local talent and connecting Indonesian developers with the global industry.

Spanning five months, the 2025 programme featured a range of activities designed to strengthen the nation’s game development ecosystem. It began with roadshows held in Batam, Bandung, Jakarta, and Denpasar, alongside online sessions that attracted over 800 participants. These events introduced aspiring creators to the opportunities within Indonesia’s growing game industry.
Participants then entered an intensive Matriculation Phase, led by industry professionals covering topics such as creative development, prototyping, visual direction, and pitching. From there, the Game Jam saw over 1,600 participants forming 391 teams, producing a total of 248 game prototypes.
Following a rigorous curation process by 20 curators and three main judges, the Top 10 teams from each category advanced to the Incubation Phase, where they received one-on-one mentorship from experienced game developers. The finalists later showcased their projects during the Final Pitching session, streamed live to over 2,500 viewers, before the top three teams in each category were announced.
The journey culminated at IGDX 2025 in Bali, where the six winning teams presented their projects directly to publishers, investors, and international stakeholders. The event served as both a celebration of creativity and a bridge between Indonesia’s developers and the global market.
