On Thursday (23/10), Indonesian indie developer and pixel artist Lucky90Happy has released his latest game, Princess Covenant, on Steam, following an earlier release on itch.io on 15 September 2025.
Princess Covenant puts players in command of a growing roster of over 50 unique allies, each with distinct skills and vocations that can be upgraded to unlock new abilities. Players fight alongside the titular Princess and her loyal mouse guardian, Arlo, against the cursed Forsakens threatening the kingdom of Fenua.
Featuring a turn-based combat system combined with deckbuilding mechanics, the game balances accessibility for newcomers with strategic depth for genre veterans. Players can explore seven dungeons at two difficulty levels, craft synergistic decks, and evolve their team to overcome challenges.

- Fight Beside the Princess – Stand with Princess and her mouse guardian, Arlo, through a story-driven campaign of her destiny.
- 7 x 2 Unique Dungeons – Conquer 7 different dungeons with two difficulty levels catered to guide your journey on Fenua.
- Hand-drawn Pixel-Art – Experience hand-drawn pixel-art visuals that bring nostalgia back to life.
- 5 Hours of Gameplay – Complete the main story in around 5 hours, with replayability ensuring no two runs are ever the same.
Lucky90Happy is an Indonesian game developer and pixel artist. On his website, he mentioned that influenced by retro Japanese video games, such as the Final Fantasy series, Pokemon series, and Chrono Trigger. Prior to Princess Covenant, he’s also a part of the team that developed Workplace Sleep Syndrome.
