Indonesian manga publisher Elex Media Komputindo will release The Decagon House Murder (Jukkakukan no Satsujin) manga in Indonesia. Published under the localised title Pembunuhan di Rumah Dekagon, the first volume is scheduled to be shipped on 27 August 2025. Detailed information about the price has not been announced yet.
Illustrated by Hiro Kiyohara, the manga is an adaptation of the mystery novel with the same name written by Yukito Ayatsuji. The story follows a group of university students, all members of a mystery club, who visit a remote island where a decagon-shaped house stands. What begins as an excursion soon turns into a tense and deadly game when the students start being killed one by one.
The original novel was first published in 1987 and is widely credited with revitalising the honkaku genre in Japan. In 2023, The Decagon House Murders was selected by Time magazine as one of the 100 Best Mystery Novels of All Time, alongside titles such as The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie and The Hound of the Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle. The manga adaptation by Hiro Kiyohara was serialised in Monthly Afternoon magazine and has since been collected into five volumes.
